Everyone wishes for compatible partners. Sometimes when we are dating we get blinded by other trappings. We think someone is cute or pretty. Maybe we like the career he is in or the car she drives. Superficial things can draw people together but what keeps them together is compatibility.

Compatible Partners Can Build Good Lives Together
One thing Ive learned as Ive grown older is that you can never guess what makes some people compatible and some not. People that you think for sure will get along sometimes dont. People that you think would hate each other or have nothing in common, stick together like a peanut butter sandwich. No one can judge another couple and how they relate to each other. A public face is often much different then the one behind closed doors.

You can look for compatible partners by running astrology or handwriting reports. Some dating sites have little romance compatibility scales that are automatically computed when you look at a new profile. It can be fun and interesting but take it with a grain of salt.

For instance, I went out with a man who was supposed to be 97 percent compatible with me according to an astrology site. The relationship was fraught with problems and fizzled out after a few intensely dramatic months. I was married to a man, who I found out long after our divorce, that I was only about 54 percent romantically compatible with according to an astrology site, though we have children and are good friends. My current fiance and I are 86 percent compatible according to one astrology site. Well see where that goes. If we had done a questionnaire quiz on compatibility we probably would have never gotten together. You never know what is going to draw a couple together, or keep them together, so be open to every new person you meet. Compatible partners can be a good base but every relationship needs work.
